Voxira for Zabbix

Turn Zabbix problems, recoveries and escalation messages into automated phone call alerts.

What the Voxira integration adds to Zabbix

Voxira adds spoken telephone alerts to Zabbix monitoring through an importable webhook media type. Problem and recovery notifications become calls that read the event message aloud. Zabbix continues to control severity filters, active periods, recipients and escalation rules, while your Voxira callflow controls the voice notification.

Example workflow

Use a Zabbix High or Disaster trigger to call the on-call engineer about a failed server. Add a recovery operation if the same team should hear when service returns.

From an event to a spoken phone call

The integration sends your message and event data to a Voxira callflow. Its text-to-speech configuration determines how the notification is spoken. Voxira queues the call and executes it asynchronously; a successful queue request does not confirm that the recipient answered. Call status is available in Voxira.

Integration questions

Does the Zabbix integration need an extra notification server?

No. The supplied webhook media type sends notifications directly from Zabbix to Voxira over HTTPS, without additional scripts or packages on the Zabbix server.
