Voxira for Node-RED

Add a Voxira node to Node-RED flows for event-driven telephone notifications.

What the Voxira integration adds to Node-RED

Add a Voxira call node to Node-RED to turn flow messages into telephone notifications. Upstream nodes supply the spoken text and can override the default destination or callflow. The node keeps the original message and attaches the queued call UUID, so downstream nodes can continue processing the event.

Example workflow

Connect a device-event flow to the Voxira call node and build a message describing the event. Route failures through a Catch node and retain the returned call UUID for later application logic.

From an event to a spoken phone call

The integration sends your message and event data to a Voxira callflow. Its text-to-speech configuration determines how the notification is spoken. Voxira queues the call and executes it asynchronously; a successful queue request does not confirm that the recipient answered. Call status is available in Voxira.

Integration questions

Does the Node-RED node replace my original message?

No. On a successful queue request, the original message continues with the call identifier added as msg.voxira.call_uuid.

Get started with Node-RED

The GitHub setup guide contains the integration files, requirements and configuration instructions for Node-RED.
