What the Voxira integration adds to LibreNMS

Voxira gives LibreNMS a telephone notification channel for device and service alerts. The built-in API alert transport sends a formatted message and network context to your callflow. Hostname, severity and alert title are available as parameters, letting spoken notifications explain which part of the network needs attention.

Example workflow

Call the network team when a core switch alert matches a LibreNMS rule. Speak the hostname and severity, and use rule settings to decide whether a recovery should trigger another call.

From an event to a spoken phone call

The integration sends your message and event data to a Voxira callflow. Its text-to-speech configuration determines how the notification is spoken. Voxira queues the call and executes it asynchronously; a successful queue request does not confirm that the recipient answered. Call status is available in Voxira.

Integration questions

Do I need to install a LibreNMS plugin?

No additional LibreNMS plugin is required. The integration uses the built-in API alert transport with the supplied headers and message template.
