Connect Grafana Alerting to Voxira to turn grouped alerts into spoken telephone notifications. A webhook contact point sends a custom JSON payload to your chosen callflow. Grafana notification policies determine which alert groups reach the contact point, while notification templates supply the text read aloud to the responder.
- Create one telephone call for each Grafana notification group.
- Use Grafana message templates to describe the alert in speech.
- Choose whether resolved notifications should also generate calls.
Example workflow
Route a production service alert group to the on-call phone number. Customize the Grafana message to explain the service and symptoms, and suppress resolved calls if only active incidents need attention.
From an event to a spoken phone call
The integration sends your message and event data to a Voxira callflow. Its text-to-speech configuration determines how the notification is spoken. Voxira queues the call and executes it asynchronously; a successful queue request does not confirm that the recipient answered. Call status is available in Voxira.
